My husband and I each purchased a Misceo 1.0 because we were preparing to ride the GAP and C&O Canal Towpath trails carrying our gear. We absolutely love them! They are wonderful machines. We don't get saddle sore or nearly as tired riding long distance on these bikes.
I bought this bike as a birthday gift to myself. I enjoy staying active and have not ridden a bike for many years. After talking with the great folks at Bicycle Warehouse in San Diego, I decided on the Raligh Misceo 1.0. Here's why. 1. Handles bumps well. 2. Handles the road/distance well. 3. Very durable. 4. Not too expensive. 5. Head-turner. As a beginning cyclist, I wanted a mid-level bike that could handle some off roading as well as the road for increasingly longer bike rides, as I become accustomed to biking again. Initial cons for me were the "heaviness" of the bike and the "short" handlebars. However, I've become accustomed to both factors and attribute the heaviness to my being a novice. Nw it's not a problem. Handlebars, I am sure can be remedied by adding restbars. I am now used to riding with them too. I have not regretted my decision once. I truly believe that you will not regret purchasing one.
